Catholiques qui
s'est tenu à Lourdes du 6 au 9 mai 2010. Ce
congrès (434 participants + 197
accompagnants) a été un double
succès. Succès de la
présence européenne (361
participants), au premier rang de laquelle
l'Italie, puis la France, puis l'Ukraine... Cette
importante participation, logique étant
donné la localisation de Lourdes, ne doit
pas masquer la participation significative des
autres continents, notamment l'extrême-orient
(Indonésie, Malaisie...), et
l'Amérique du Nord... On peut regretter
cependant que le vrai problème de la Foi -
si important à notre époque en Europe
occidentale - n'ait été
véritablement traité que dans
quelques communications, Egalement, le peu de temps
libre, et la dissémination dans les
hôtels n'ont peut-être pas
favorisé au maximum la rencontre des
participants. De nombreux contacts ont
été établis cependant. Enfin
quelques pays européens à forte
majorité catholique étaient
très faiblement représentés.
Espérons qu'ils seront plus largement
représentés lors de notre prochain
Congrès européen qui aura lieu en
2012. Le prochain Congrès
mondial aura lieu en 2014 à Bombay (Inde),
où il avait déjà eu lieu en
1978, et où la délégation
européenne avait été
importante. You will find on this site

abstracts of the World Congress of the Catholic
Doctors which took
place in Lourdes from the 6 to the 9th May 2010.
This congress (434 participants + 197 accompanying
persons) has been a double success. Success of the European
participation (361 participants: the largest
delegations came from Italy, then France, then
Ukraine...). This important European participation,
logical, given Lourdes location, must not conceal
the significant participation of the other
continents, notably the Far East (Indonesia,
Malaysia ...), and North America... One may regret, however,
that the real question of Faith - so important
nowadays in Western Europe - has been really
addressed to by only a few papers. The short free
time, and the dissemination in the hotels may not
also have been the utmost help for the participants
to meet each other. Many contacts were established
however. Finally, a few European countries with
strong Catholic majority had a very low
representation. We hope they will be more strongly
represented at our next European Congress which
will take place in 2012. The next World Congress
will be held in 2014 in Bombay (India), where it
already took place in 1978, and where the European
delegation had been important.

très particulière à Lourdes,
faite de dévotion et de piété,
toute au service des malades.
Success too because of the very special atmosphere
in Lourdes, made of devotion and piety, all in the
service of the patients.
